A charming apartment, tastefully furnished with many references to the city’s history — there is even a full suit of armour in the living room! It is equipped with every modern comfort. The bedrooms are beautiful, spacious and bright — everything you could possibly need is provided. Looking out the windows, you can see the ramparts of the citadel and its towers towering just above you, incredibly close. The location is simply amazing. It is hard to believe there could be a better place to stay in Carcassonne. Peggy and Anthony are always available to answer questions and are extremely attentive. They also provide a parking pass for a car park located just two minutes’ walk away. Fantastic!

Exceptional apartment! In terms of facilities and comfort, nothing was missing at all. A beautiful apartment, tastefully decorated. The location is ideal for exploring the Medieval City, while being only about a ten-minute walk from the town centre. The hosts are very caring and always attentive.

The accommodation offered every possible comfort and amenity, and its elegant décor was both very pleasant and thoughtfully designed. Communication with the hosts was quick, smooth and very helpful. Fresh bread and baguettes could be purchased from a local shop located just near the apartment. We enjoyed sitting by the lovely window overlooking the square, taking in the view. The location was truly ideal, with a cobbled entrance leading directly to the Medieval City, right in front of the main gate.

We chose this apartment based on the excellent reviews, and we can only confirm what previous guests have said. We had a wonderful stay in this charming accommodation. If we ever return to the area, we would definitely choose Gîte Carcasso again.
